Everyone is talking about video; my marketing consultant is always pestering me about putting more video on the Aspidistra site. The trouble is for most of us ‘creatively challenged’ business people it is difficult to do. We have one professionally produced video on our site that ‘I think’ explains our proposition but like many companies we wouldn’t allocate budget to create scores of these.
The answer has to be short in house videos that help the buyer by demonstrating the product or answering common questions. These can be hosted on YouTube which will provide another marketing channel. These videos can then be embedded on the product pages of your B2B Ecommerce site. We provide these facilities for a number of our customers. For some though with over 500,000 products video is simply not a realistic proposition.
