Shopfront provides 3 principle ways of displaying products:

  • Simple products
  • Matrix products where a product has systematic variants such as size and colour
  • List products where a product has variant that are not systematic or you want to arrange them as a list for other reasons.

Shopfront imports products from the accounts system as simple products; you can then convert them to SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) for use in matrix or list products if required. Shopfront will keep product data up to date through periodic synchronisations.
